ComPeters, Inc. has ventured into the web development market. With attractive opportunities in the area of advertizing and tourism, ComPeters has entered into a new market segment that is somewhat outside of it's normal spectrum, but is showing a real chance at new growth and an increassed customer base.
2008
ComPeters, Inc. released the OmniGrid Outage Management System. This OMS is unique in that it was created out of a partnership between a Hydro Distribution Company and ComPeters, Inc. This software that runs on a regular PC with a tri-monitor system was designed to act as a call centre software as well as an intelligent Outage Management System, that enables a dispatcher to send a crew out within minutes of the first customer calls coming in.
2007
ComPeters, Inc. was instrumental in the creation of the U2 software "UtiLocate Dispatch V.2" that is sold under the UtiLocate banner. U2 now handles about 23% of the Ontario Underground Locating Dispatch market. U2 contains the only drawing tool exclusively designed for field and locator use. ComPeters, Inc. reinvents itself as a software development and research house. We still do consulting and business analysis, but now start focusing on the always new and exiting area involving software and software research.
2003
ComPeters Inc. announces the first release of it's UMS (Utilities Maintenance System). Version 1.0 has been field tested in the Niagara Peninsula and has conclusively shown that field data entry averages up to 4 times the rate that was possible using paper entry only. The program allows even those with little or no computer experience to enter Maintenance Data in the field and save 2 to 4 minutes per pole or transformer checked.
1999
ComPeters incorporated. We now serve many Utilities and small business under our new name ComPeters, Inc., that require custom programming and Support Solutions. With our combined 20+ years of CableCad support experience and many years of MS Access and VB experience we do the best we possibly can to provide our customers with excellent solutions.
1995
ComPeters moved to the Cambridge/Kitchener area and started focusing on Hydro and other Utility companies, offering Consulting, Programming and Support Services for CableCad and other GIS related software packages in use in the engineering departments of the utilities. ComPeters also started working with small and medium sized business to provide MS Access and Visual Basic based business solutions.
1994
ComPeters closed operations in Quito, Ecuador
1992
ComPeters opened as a proprietary computer consulting company in Dunnville, Ontario to serve the local small business community.
1984
ComPeters Ltd. was originally founded in Quito, Ecuador in 1984 to serve the English speaking business community in Quito with Hardware and Software solutions. ComPeters' original customers were Banks, Oil companies and mission groups. Services offered consisted of: Hardware, Software Design, Training and Custom Programming together with Systems Analysis work. |
